Florida’s minimum wage went up a dime on January 1, 2020, to $8.56 per hour.

Not a lot, but heading in the right direction for Florida workers in that wage bracket, and far above the federal minimum of $7.25 per hour.

The Florida rate is now $5.54 per hour for tipped employees in the hospitality industry.
